Michael Winnick is an award-winning writer-director who graduated magna cum laude from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Michael recently completed two feature films – the psychological thriller Disquiet for Paramount, and the spy thriller Dark Asset. Michael also wrote, directed, and produced the fun heist thriller Guns, Girls & Gambling starring Gary Oldman and Christian Slater for Universal, and wrote and directed the horror-thriller Malicious for Vertical. Michael also wrote and directed the action-thriller Code of Honor for Lionsgate; the fantasy comedy The Better Half; and the thriller Shadow Puppet.
Jay Oliva is an American director, producer, showrunner, and senior illustrator based in Los Angeles. He began his career in animation in 1996, working on Spider-Man (Fox), and quickly moved on to direct Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles (1998). Over the years, he contributed to series like Extreme Ghostbusters, Godzilla, and Jackie Chan Adventures, before joining Mike Young Productions as Storyboard Supervisor on He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2000-2002). Oliva’s entry into the DC universe came with The Batman (2004), and he became well known for his work in DC Animation. In 2007, Jay directed The Invincible Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow (Lionsgate), storyboarded Superman: Doomsday (Warner Bros.), and worked on Disney’s My Friends Tigger and Pooh. In 2009, Jay joined Warner Bros. Animation, working on projects like Scooby-Doo, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Wonder Woman (animated film), Green Lantern: First Flight, and Batman: Under the Red Hood. He is best known for directing Young Justice (2010) and for his work on The Dark Knight Returns films (2012-2013). He also directed 52 animated films, including Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013) and Batman: Bad Blood (2016). Oliva transitioned into live-action films while working on The Dark Knight Returns, storyboarding Man of S
teel (2013) for Zack Snyder, and later contributing to films like Deadpool (2016) and Wonder Woman (2017). In 2019, he founded Lex + Otis Animation Studio, where he serves as CEO and showrunner. The studio’s first project, Trese (Netflix), was based on the Filipino graphic novel series.
Daniela Ciancio is an A-list award-winning costume designer with over 30 years of experience in film, television, theater, opera, and the ballet. A member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, as well as the Italian Academy of Cinema, Ciancio has won David di Donatello Awards, two Ciak d'Oro Awards, and two Piero Tosi Awards. She is best known for collaborating with director Paolo Sorrentino, designing costumes for his Oscar-winning The Great Beauty, Il Divo, and his short film The Slow Game. Ciancio works with a range of prominent filmmakers including Michael Winterbottom, Robert Salerno, Wim Wenders, and Marco Risi, among others. Her television work, notably for the series MARS, has earned multiple nominations and awards Ciancio has served on several prestigious juries, including the Academy Awards and the European Film Academy. She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples and was mentored by legendary costume designer Piero Tosi, who awarded her a scholarship at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. Ciancio is represented by UTA and divides her time between Rome and LA.
